Cancelling a gym membership: notice and steps

The notice period is in your contract terms – one to three months before the end is common. Check the exact end date and the period to avoid the automatic renewal.
In the letter, state your member or contract number, name, address and the desired cancellation date. For an extraordinary cancellation (e.g. moving away or health reasons) some studios require proof – check the terms. For the start of the period, receipt by the studio usually counts.
Recommended shipping method
