Question 1

What file formats and sizes are supported?

Accepted Answer

We process PDF documents exclusively, with a maximum file size of 7.5 MB. Your PDF should be in A4 format and may contain up to 119 pages (plus the automatically generated cover page). Documents exceeding these limits cannot be processed.

Question 2

Why is a cover page required?

Accepted Answer

The cover page displays the recipient's address in the envelope's address window. When using the PDF upload option, your uploaded document is placed behind this cover page. This enables correct delivery by Swiss Post. For PDF uploads, the cover page counts as a page in the price. A 1-page PDF therefore costs the same as a 2-page letter.

Question 3

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

Payments are processed securely through our payment partner Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and TWINT. All transactions are encrypted.

Question 4

What happens with undeliverable letters?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient's address is wrong or doesn't exist, Swiss Post cannot deliver the letter. Undeliverable letters are not returned to you or to us: our printing and mailing partner destroys them. As soon as we are notified, we inform you by email and you can resend the letter with the corrected address. The postage has already been incurred.

Question 5

Are your templates legally binding?

Accepted Answer

Our text templates serve solely as drafting aids and do not constitute legal advice. Depending on your use case, jurisdiction, or contract, different formal requirements may apply. It is your responsibility to verify the content and formal requirements.

Question 6

What guarantees does SwissDocs24 provide?

Accepted Answer

We forward your mailings to our production partners. Processing and delivery are subject to the terms of our partners and Swiss Post. We do not assume any guarantees beyond those stated in our General Terms and Conditions.
